“Company-Carrousel”


The promotion of technology, and of course especially mechanical engineering, and encourage young people to opt for technology in education and profession. That is why Domas Systems has decided to join in the initiative “The Company-Carrousel” of the Martinus College, a large regional secondary school in our region.

Yesterday, April 17th, 25 second-year students, who are about to choose a curriculum, have visited our company. We’d like to thank all the students for their enthusiasm, and of course we hope that this day helped the students in choosing their specialization.

Eighth Pressout-Unit for Johnson Matthey

This week we signed the contract with Johnson Matthey, for the manufacturing of the eighth Pressout-Unit for their plant in Maastricht.

Again this installation will be conducted in accordance with ATEX, this is the standard for explosion-safe equipment.

The pressout unit will supply the Buhler three-roll mill with paste. The past is produced in tubs or vessels. The pressout unit will lift the tub. When it is lifted it can be moved above the three-roll mill. When the mill asks for new products, the pressout system will start pressing and supply the three roller mill new product. This pressout device is a standard machine for Domas, and we have ATEX pressout devices and non- Atex pressouts. They are used the way subscribed above, but also used as pressout for bead-mills, pressout for filter presses or pressout for ball mills.

Increase number of maintenance contracts


2013 started for Domas with a record number of maintenance contracts. With this contracts, we mean these contracts for service and maintenance within the Cotech productgroup. By these contracts, owners of these security systems ensure a properly functioning system, it reduces their burden of required periodic maintenance, they have a discount at hour-rates and parts for corrective maintenance and one has a guaranteed response time in case of failure.

According to Roland Wiersma, sales manager for the Cotech product, this is the result of the increasing need in the organizations to cost-control. “By these contracts, one can feel assured of fixed costs and fixed tariffs.”
